Literacy-related instructional strategies across the content areas assist students in acquiring and retaining curriculum content. Through the use of a variety of texts, (literary and informational), the needs of diverse learners can be addressed. Coaching, modeling and other strategies can be embedded into all content areas to align with the goals of the Alabama College and Career Standards, ACIP, curriculum content, and Pacing Guides. This professional development supports teachers and students with a broad spectrum of learning activities.
